Mrs. Ruth Macy – Kindergarten

   Ruth Macy began teaching at Good Shepherd Day School in the fall of 1997. She began as a teacher in our preschool program and later became our kindergarten teacher. In 2000-2001, she taught our first kindergarten class. Mrs. Macy has more that thirty years of experience at the preschool and kindergarten levels. Although trained in nursing, Mrs. Macy’s talents led her to work with young children at the Windham Co-operative Kindergarten in Windham, New Hampshire. In recognition of her excellence in teaching, Mrs. Macy received the “Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year” Award in the spring of 2006.
